Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026 · Applies to Innerglyph at getinnerglyph.com.

Who we are

Innerglyph (“we”, “us”) is operated by Crystal Shell, contact privacy@getinnerglyph.com. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the site and related services.

Information we collect

  • Birthdays and readings you enter. Dates you submit to look up Birth Cards, Planetary Ruling Cards, yearly, daily, or 52-day readings. Friends names and birthdays you add on /friends.
  • Account data. If you create an account: email address, authentication credentials managed by our auth provider, saved birthday, and optional notification preferences.
  • Payment data. Ad-free subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and related identifiers; card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on Innerglyph servers.
  • Technical logs. Standard server and security logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for reliability and abuse prevention.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See Advertising and third-party cookies and Analytics and measurement below.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide readings, save account preferences, fulfill ad-free subscriptions, send optional daily-card reminders you opt into, respond to Contact messages, secure the service, and improve the product. Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection only.

Advertising and third-party cookies (Google AdSense)

Innerglyph may display ads from Google AdSense (publisher account ca-pub-9362092196481957) on eligible reading routes. Google and its partners use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie and other advertising identifiers — to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

For more information about how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Analytics and measurement

  • Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Innerglyph (pages viewed, traffic sources such as campaign links, and product events like viewing a reading or starting checkout). We do not send birthdays, names, or email addresses to Google Analytics. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies (such as _ga). We use Google Consent Mode v2: for every visitor, analytics and advertising storage is denied by default and only turned on if you choose Accept in our cookie banner. You can opt out of Google Analytics on all sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See also how Google uses data from partner sites.
  • Vercel Web Analytics. Our host, Vercel, provides cookieless, aggregated page-view statistics. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors across sites.

Until you accept, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals. To opt out at any time, choose Reject under “Cookie settings” in the site footer, block or delete cookies in your browser, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on above. Vercel describes its analytics data handling in its Web Analytics privacy notes.

Payments (Stripe)

Checkout and billing for Weekly and Yearly ad-free plans are handled by Stripe. Stripe processes payment details under its own privacy policy. We store subscription status needed to unlock ad-free access and to support cancellations via Stripe's customer portal or receipt links.

Service providers

We use the following providers to run Innerglyph, in addition to Google, Vercel, and Stripe described above. Each of these providers processes data only to provide its service to us.

  • OpenAI.Generates AI readings from what you submit (such as birthdays, names, and questions you enter). This data is processed under OpenAI's API data usage policies and, by default, is not used to train OpenAI's models. Not being used for training does not mean it is never stored: according to OpenAI, API inputs and outputs may be kept in abuse monitoring logs for up to 30 days (unless longer retention is required by law) before being deleted. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
  • Resend. Sends transactional email such as sign-in links and receipts. Resend processes your email address and the content of those messages. See Resend's privacy policy.
  • Vercel Web Analytics. Cookieless, aggregated page-view analytics provided by our host, Vercel.

These providers may process data in the United States.

Cookie consent

On your first visit we show a cookie banner with equal Accept and Reject buttons. Advertising and analytics cookies (ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and analytics storage) stay off for everyone until you choose Accept; strictly necessary and functional storage is always on. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (ig_consent) so we don't ask again. You can change it any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer, which reopens the banner. Clearing your browser storage also resets it.

EU / UK visitors and consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or another region that requires consent for non-essential cookies, we request consent before personalized advertising cookies are used. You can withdraw consent through “Cookie settings” in the footer or via the opt-out links above. Legal bases for processing may include contract (providing the reading or subscription you request), legitimate interests (security and cookieless aggregate analytics), and consent (advertising and analytics cookies).

For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, Innerglyph may instead use Google's certified consent management platform (the Google CMP, configured through AdSense Privacy & messaging and integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework) to request and record consent for advertising cookies and ads personalization. Where that message is shown, it replaces our banner. To change your choices, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or the privacy and cookie message Google shows on the site.

Retention and security

We retain account and subscription records while your account or paid access is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. Technical logs are retained for a limited operational window. We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data; no method of transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of account data by contacting us at the privacy email above or via the Contact form. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser; some features may not work without them. Push notifications can be turned off in your browser settings and on the daily card page when that control is available.

Children

Innerglyph is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
