Birth card · December 31
The Joker
In Innerglyph's date chart, December 31 is the only birthday whose Birth Card is the Joker. The Joker is the sole wild card: it sits outside the standard 52-card catalog, and its identity stays distinct from its standard-card personality association.
Personality association: Eight of Diamonds
The December 31 chart row lists the Eight of Diamondsas the Joker's standard personality-card association and as its Planetary Ruling Card. Innerglyph shows that card separately so the Joker identity itself is never replaced. The Eight of Diamonds is ruled by Mercury; its published reading is:
Pure momentum — fast, swift, riding the wave that's already cresting. You move quickly, communicate quickly, and you excel when the project has a deadline and a direction. Slow down on purpose sometimes; the pace you set is the pace others keep.Read the Eight of Diamonds
How Joker readings are calculated
- Birth Card: Joker, read directly from the December 31 row of the reference chart. The birth year only validates the date.
- Planetary Ruling Card: Eight of Diamonds, also from that chart row.
- 52-Day cycle: anchored to the chart-listed Eight of DiamondsPlanetary Ruling Card, like every other birthday's cycle is anchored to its first listed ruling card.
- Daily and Yearly Cards: not assigned. No daily or yearly progression from the Joker has been defined, so Innerglyph leaves those readings unassigned rather than guessing.
